Our Books & Works on Paper auctions cover all manner of fascinating subjects that have captured the imaginations of people the world over for centuries. We truly believe that books bring people together, and re-homing treasured collections to those appreciative of their qualities is of the utmost importance to us.

We regularly handle large collections and libraries - our valuers are confident in their expertise to be able to give you the most professional service possible, from appraisal to sale. Our team of valuers will be able to assist either at our auction rooms in Bath or Bristol or at the property where you'll be given an initial idea of how your books will be lotted for sale and a rough valuation along with advice on current market conditions etc.

From here the books will come into the saleroom and a final estimate produced upon condition inspections and research when being catalogued. Our sales are quarterly with occasional extra sales on top of the usual sales in February, May, August and November.
