BLUE AND WHITE "DOUBLE DRAGON" JAR WITH LID 元 青花云龙纹荷叶盖罐
A Yuan dynasty blue or later and white ceramic jar with cover. The baluster shaped vase decorated with floral scrolling on the neck and shoulder, two three-claws dragons surrounded by clouds on the body, lappets motifs to the bottom, presented with a domed cover with lettuce and a spiral finial. Unglazed to the base.
Measures approx. 20cm tall x 17cm wide.
Acquired by the grandfather of the current owner in the 1930s.
