LE ROY & FILLS, PARIS - FRENCH 19TH CENTURY GILT METAL 8-DAY MANTEL CLOCK
Le Roy & FiIls, Paris - A French 19th century circa 1880s Louis XV style gilt metal 8-day mantel clock. The clock having a laurel finial atop over a cascade of flower embellishments surrounding the circular enamel clock face. The face having Roman and Arabic numerals to the chapter ring with gilt hands. Stamped Le Roya & Fils, Paris to face with 296 Regent Street, London. The clock base decorated with further in relief laurel leaves over a central plaque with cherubs. The 8-day movement stamped n. 6605.
Measures approx. 32cm x 25cm x 15cm.
