Miroy Freres, Paris - A French 19th century gilt metal & enamel figurative eight-day movement mantel clock. The clock having a young farmer with horse pediment atop with foliate details, fence, basket and ploughing tools all around. Central clock face with Roman numerals to chapter ring flanked by hand painted floral vignettes. Further ormolu embellishments below regarding farming. Gilt painted wooden plinth base. Movement stamped to back.
